Founder/Director
With 17 years of experience as a qualified estimator, contractor and business owner, Stephen used his expertise to design and build Esti-mate Electrical two years ago. His passion for helping and mentoring young and emerging electricians in their business development & tendering process, led him to design and build the new Estimating course at NECA E&C around Esti-mate Electrical. Stephen is also on boarding each and every one of our subscribers to ensure the start their Esti-mating journey off right, setting them up for success!

OUR STORY
This software was born from the frustrations and necessity of an electrical contractor who was searching for ways to increase his own productivity on the admin side of his business so that he could focus on other areas that were in dire need of attention.
After one of his employees decided to go out on his own, he needed a way to pass on and share his knowledge developed over his 15 years in the industry, in a way that was easy to teach, navigate and send them out into the industry with the ability to “Estimate with confidence”.
From there, Esti-mate Electrical came to life. In his own business, he saw an increase in accuracy, increased his own efficiency and in turn, productivity. This resulted in more time to reallocate elsewhere within the business and an increase in the bottom line.

SAMANTHA RICHES
General Manger/Marketing
Samantha has worked in buiness for close to 10 years but is new to the Electrical and Trade space. Her partner is a Sparkie of 17 years so while shes not up for getting her hands dirty, she hears all about how dirty your hands do get onsite, all the time! (Aparently Sparkies work the hardest!)
She brings to the business a can do attitude and an unparralelled work ethic.

Teresa, affectionately known as Tez is a bubbly Mum of 2 who always, has a smile on her face.
Teresa works part time for Esti-mate and in her other life is a (CRT) School teacher! Which would explain the patience of a Saint she has. Married to a Sparky of 12 years Teresa is also familiar with the lingo, she may even try some on you if you slip into our DMs on Social media.

SUNIL SHINDE

Sunil has been working as engineering professional for more than 5yrs and helped thousands of general contractors and sub-contractors in their tendering process and Project Management from pre-construction right through to post-construction.
Sunil has been with us since the beginning and is possibly the nicest person on our team! As well as specialisng in Project Mangement, He is also a whiz with the digital highlighter and therefore our obvious choice to head up our count and measure team.

Laura, is a fitness and health obsessed mum, always trying to reverse or sustain aging! Laura works part-time in the New Zealand Esti-mate space. Her background is based around admin and small business support. On her off days she is working her branding, social media and marketing skills at an up and coming, 3×3 basketball center in Albany, Auckland. If she’s not there she’s on adventures with her 2 mini humans.
